CLEAR BAG POLICY
For your safety and ours, only clear bags or non-clear bags that are 4.5” x 6.5” or smaller are allowed at Festival Events. No entry will be permitted and no refund issued in the event of bringing a non-clear bag. This is applicable for Southern Hospitality, Grand Tasting and Burgers, Bourbon & Beer. Large bags and backpacks are not allowed at any event.
A Culinary Festival with a Purpose

Realizing a shared vision with the James Beard Foundation to make good food for good™, and spotlight women and minority communities, a partnership between the Foundation, Visit San Antonio, and Culinaria was a natural progression. Proceeds from Tasting Texas will benefit the James Beard Foundation’s scholarship programs, which in turn, provide opportunities for minority culinary talent to develop their skills and experience. Further, by providing high-level exposure to chefs from Texas, the city of San Antonio, and others across the country, Tasting Texas aims to help the restaurant industry, locally and nationally, grow from the devastating financial effects of the pandemic.
