  • What are the Dates of the Festival?
    October 26-29, 2023
  • What is included with my ticket to The Grand Tasting and Burgers, Bourbon & Beer?
    A ticket to The Grand Tasting grants an all-inclusive experience and provides unlimited tasting, sipping, sampling, chef sightings + demos, interactive experiences, live music, and more. Guests will also receive a commemorative wine glass.
  • What's included with a VIP ticket to The Grand Tasting & Burgers, Bourbon & Beer?
    The VIP Ticket includes all of the General Admission perks with the addition of a dedicated VIP Lounge with additional food and beverages as well as free access to Hopscotch, an immersive art gallery adjacent to Travis Park.
  • What items are prohibited in the big events?
    ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR except for small personal clutches (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″). No backpacks, coolers, large purses, lawn chairs, or outside food + beverage are permitted at festival events. No firearms or weapons are permitted. Violators are considered trespassers and are subject to forfeiture or arrest. No Pets – Unless it is a Service Animal and you are a person with disabilities Tables and Chairs, we will have plenty of tables and chairs to relax on NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS OR ITEMS THAT LEAD TO TRASH Disposable/Travel Cups or Yeti’s Umbrellas or Kites Drones or Cameras with Tripods Parasols, Flyers, Stickers, Posters Coolers Backpacks or Non-Clear Bags No Bicycles, Scooters, Go Carts, or ATVs
  • Should I wear a mask to the Festival?
    Please wear your mask if that is what makes you most comfortable! We will not be requiring masks at events at this time.
  • Do you recycle?
    Absolutely!
  • Do I receive a commemorative glass?
    Yes. You will receive one commemorative wine glass at larger events like Southern Hospitality, The Grand Tasting and Burgers, Bourbon & Beer. One glass will be issued per guest. Please treat it with kindness.
  • WILL THERE BE A RIDESHARE PICK UP / DROP OFF AREA?
    Of course, rideshare can be dropped off at the entrance to Travis Park, as well as the front door of each venue.
  • Do I need an I.D.?
    YES, you must bring a Valid government-issued ID.
  • WHERE DO I PICK UP MY WRISTBAND?
    Select festival events have wristbands, which will be distributed at the gate of each event. You must have a printed ticket or barcode on your phone to present at the gate for wristband and event entry. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Individuals not wearing a wristband will not be allowed entry, no exceptions. Please do not lose or remove your wristband – these are not replaceable.
  • When is the Tasting Texas Wine + Food Festival?
    Tasting Texas Food & Wine is an annual food and beverage experience with our 2023 event taking place THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26 through SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2023.
  • Where is the Tasting Texas Food & Wine Festival located and where do I park?
    The festival will be happening at multiple locations throughout the city with each day, time, and location indicated in the events description as well as when your tickets are issued. Each location will have separate parking information and will be sent via email once tickets have been purchased. It is strongly encouraged to utilize a ride-share service if you plan on consuming alcohol at any of our events.
  • Are children allowed at events?
    If children are allowed there is a separate ticket cost for children ages 7-20. If children are not allowed the event will say “21 + Up” in the event description. All of that info can be found by clicking your chosen event on the events page HERE.
  • Which events at Tasting Texas Wine + Food are family-friendly?
    The following events are open to all ages, including children: Hallowine 5k Run on Saturday 10/29/22 Grand Tasting Burgers, Bourbon and Beer
  • Are tickets refundable?
    Tasting Texas Food & Wine Festival tickets are non-refundable.
  • Are there discounts if I do not plan on eating or drinking?
    No, there are no discounts on ticket pricing other than military.
  • Who do I contact about ticketing questions?
    All questions pertaining to the festival may be directed to info@culinariasa.org
  • How do I hear about upcoming dates, discounts, and event features?
    All event dates, ticketing discounts, news, and announcements are distributed FIRST via our Culinaria email newsletters. You can sign up to receive those HERE: Once information is distributed to our subscribers it will be available to the public on our Website as well as by following Culinaria on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Can I be a Tasting Texas Food & Wine Festival Volunteer?
    Absolutely, sign up here!
  • What happens if it rains?
    The Tasting Texas Food & Wine Festival occurs rain or shine! We suggest checking the weather and dressing accordingly. If there is severe weather in the area, we will communicate what our back up plans are and how that will work for our guests.
  • What if I have a dietary restriction?
    Guests are encouraged to make chefs aware of any allergies or restrictions and they will be delighted to let you know exactly what goes into their preparation.
  • What do I wear?
    Be comfortable and wear what makes you feel good. The Maverick Plaza events are outside, so flats might be nice.
