Restaurant Weeks is the biggest celebration of dining in San Antonio and has been a great way to try new restaurants, visit old favorites and a fantastic excuse to grab a group of friends for a get-together. While it may look a bit different this year, it’s something we feel is important for us all... the restaurants can certainly use our patronage, it’s benefiting the Culinaria Hospitality Fund.. and, overall, we all need something to look forward to and enjoy right now.
Every precaution is being taken to make sure we all stay safe during the month of deliciousness, including a big emphasis on to-go options with the traditional dine-in.
In the spirit of adapting, we thought we would pass along a few ideas to make those to-go options a special treat!
Use this time to use those special dishes that you save for holidays.
Open that bottle (or bottles) of wine that you’ve been saving for a special occasion.
Enjoy your Restaurant Week To-Go through Zoom or FaceTime with friends or family.
Dress up for the occasion. Just because you’re home doesn’t mean you can’t still don your festive attire.
Try taking your to-go for a picnic.
Don’t forget to keep taking those photos of your Restaurant Weeks meals and share with Culinaria!
We can’t wait until the day when we can all gather once again. But, for now, we look forward to all that the best restaurants and chefs are bringing to us for Restaurant Weeks! To view the Restaurant Weeks participants and menus, click here.
