San Antonio, get ready to run, sip, and celebrate! This year, our annual HalloWine Run is moving to an exciting new location at the RIM, giving participants plenty of room to stretch their legs and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, the event promises a fun-filled morning of running, walking, and indulging with Halloween-themed excitement for all ages. The new location will inject energy and dynamism into the 5K run/walk, with

convenient amenities, festive surroundings, and scenic views along the Leon Creek

Greenway Trailhead. With ample parking, easy access, and a lively surrounding community, it’s the ideal spot to host this beloved Halloween-themed 5K. The new venue also allows for a bigger post-race celebration, giving participants more room to enjoy delicious bites, drinks, and family-friendly festivities without missing a beat.

Of course, costumes are a must! Runners and walkers are encouraged to dress up in their spookiest, funniest, or most creative get-ups, making the run a visual treat as well as a physical one. And don’t forget the added post-race perks: wine, craft beer, sweet treats, and plenty of photo opportunities to capture your Halloween spirit. Families, friends, and furry companions are all welcome to join in the fun, making it a truly community-centric event.

Registration is open now, at $45 per person and registration fees will jump up again on October 24 to $50. Last-minute participants can register (if spots are available) on the day of the event for $70.

Whether you’re looking to break a personal record, enjoy a leisurely stroll, or simply soak up the festive vibe, the HalloWine Run at the RIM is the ultimate fall experience in San Antonio. Your post gave such a vivid look at the June Quarterly Pour—it felt like being there! I recently saw a similar take on a review blog, which discussed culinary events and community gatherings in a way that added depth, much like the reflections I’ve shared on https://southerndry.com/ about local food culture. Excellent, engaging write-up!
