Think you know the best fried chicken sandwich in town? You can taste for yourself at Master of Chicken on Saturday, April 12, where nearly a dozen local chefs will battle it out for sandwich supremacy!

Top culinary talents such as Jeff Balfour of Southerleigh Fine Foods and Geronimo Lopez of Supper American Eatery at Hotel Emma will showcase their signature flavors, crafting one-of-a-kind chicken sandwiches in a bid to snag the title of Master of Chicken from reigning champion chef Leo Davila.

Chef Leo Davila will compete in 2025 to retain his Master of Chicken title.

This year’s iteration of Master of Chicken will take over a new venue: the sun-dappled grounds of The Alley on Bitters, a vibrant shopping center that offers a unique blend of local boutiques and dining spots.

Alley anchor Meadow Neighborhood Eatery will host The Master of Chicken attendees on its sprawling patio, offering shade, refreshing drinks, and golf streaming on big screens. Meanwhile, Meadow chef-owner PJ Edwards will sling fried yardbird goodness amid music, other notable chefs, and the irresistible aroma of sizzling chicken.

Tickets are $30 in advance and include samples from all competing chefs, summertime beverage sampling, live entertainment, and access to local vendors. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $40. All ages are welcome, and tickets can be purchased here. The event will run 1-4 p.m.

Well paced and informative, this highlight captures the essence of the event without overwhelming the reader. The focus on atmosphere and shared experience made it especially engaging. I recently https://mantecadentist.com/ came across a food and event review on mantecadentist that approached tastings with the same appreciation for detail. Content like this does a great job of preserving the spirit of the occasion for those who could not attend.

An engaging and honest conversation. The https://www.doublegpainters.com/ insights into the writing process were especially compelling. I recently read a book-focused review on doublegpainters that echoed some of these themes.

I was https://maydayhoustonlaw.com/ reminded of a food feature on maydayhoustonlaw that also celebrated skill and creativity in the kitchen.

A very insightful interview that flowed naturally and allowed the ideas to shine. The questions and responses felt balanced and informative. I was reminded of a https://www.carsoup.com/ creative-focused discussion I saw on carsoup, which offered a complementary viewpoint while reading this. Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful conversation.

A lively and informative event highlight that captures both skill and creativity. The structure made it easy to appreciate the culinary focus. It brought to mind a chef feature I read on https://searenovation.com/ that celebrated mastery through passion and technique.
